We move and cover furniture, mask floors and fixtures, patch nail holes and drywall damage, sand the patches flush, and cut clean lines by hand. Low-odor and low-VOC products are available if you have kids, pets, or anyone in the house who is sensitive to fumes.
Most paint failures are prep failures. Paint applied over chalky siding, damp wood, or old caulk that has pulled away will fail regardless of what the paint costs. Our crews take the time on the front end, and we tell you when we find something that needs repair before painting, whether that is soft fascia, a failed window seal, or siding that has taken on water.
West and south-facing walls in Denton County take direct sun for most of the year, and summer surface temperatures climb well past what mild climate paints are formulated for. We use acrylic latex exterior products with UV resistance and flexibility ratings suited to this region, and we follow manufacturer specs on film thickness and recoat timing rather than rushing a second coat.
