How Our House Painting Process Works
-
01
Free Walkthrough and Written Estimate
We walk the property with you, note every surface to be painted, and look for the things that change a price later: rotted trim, failed caulk, chalking siding, drywall damage. You get a written estimate covering prep, materials, labor, and cleanup, with the repair items called out separately so you can see what you are paying for. -
02
Color Selection and Scheduling
We help you narrow colors and put samples on the actual wall, because paint reads differently on brick, siding, and stucco than it does on a chip under store lighting. Once colors are set we lock in dates and tell you how many days the crew will be on site and which rooms or elevations they will be working on each day. -
03
Prep and Repairs
Pressure washing outside, or furniture moving and floor protection inside. Then scraping and sanding failing paint, patching drywall, replacing rotted trim, spot priming bare wood, and caulking every gap at windows, doors, and joints. Hardware comes off rather than getting taped around. This is the longest step on most jobs and the one that determines how long the finish lasts. -
04
Priming and Painting
Primer where the surface calls for it, then two finish coats unless the job specs otherwise. Exteriors are sprayed and back rolled for even film thickness. Interiors are cut in by hand at ceilings, baseboards, and casings. We follow manufacturer recoat times instead of rushing the second coat, and we stop when weather moves outside the cure window rather than pushing through it. -
05
Walkthrough, Touch Ups, and Roof Report
We walk the property with you and mark anything you want corrected, then handle the touch ups before the crew leaves. Hardware goes back on, coverings come up, and the site gets cleaned. You also get our written report on the roof, gutters, and flashing we looked at while we were up there, at no charge and with nothing attached to it.

Interior and Exterior Painting for Homes Across Denton, TX
Some homeowners call us for one room. Others call because the south side of the house has faded a shade lighter than the rest of it. We handle both, and we quote both the same way, which is a written price after we have walked the property and seen what we are dealing with.
Exterior House Painting
Siding, trim, fascia, soffit, shutters, garage doors, front doors, and eaves. We pressure wash the surface, let it dry, scrape and sand failing paint back to a sound edge, spot prime bare wood, replace rotted trim where we find it, and caulk every gap around windows and doors. Then we spray and back roll for even coverage. Brick and stucco are handled with masonry primers and coatings meant for the material rather than standard house paint.
Interior Painting
Walls, ceilings, baseboards, door casings, crown molding, cabinets, and closets. We move and cover furniture, mask floors and fixtures, patch nail holes and drywall damage, sand the patches flush, and cut clean lines by hand. Low-odor and low-VOC products are available if you have kids, pets, or anyone in the house who is sensitive to fumes.
Prep, Repairs, and Caulking Before the First Coat
Most paint failures are prep failures. Paint applied over chalky siding, damp wood, or old caulk that has pulled away will fail regardless of what the paint costs. Our crews take the time on the front end, and we tell you when we find something that needs repair before painting, whether that is soft fascia, a failed window seal, or siding that has taken on water.
Paint Products Built for North Texas Sun and Heat
West and south-facing walls in Denton County take direct sun for most of the year, and summer surface temperatures climb well past what mild climate paints are formulated for. We use acrylic latex exterior products with UV resistance and flexibility ratings suited to this region, and we follow manufacturer specs on film thickness and recoat timing rather than rushing a second coat.

One Call for Paint, Siding, Gutters, and Roof
Signs It May Be Time to Repaint
Exterior paint gives plenty of warning before it fails outright. These are the things worth looking for.
- Chalky residue on your hand after running it along the siding
- Peeling, cracking, blistering, or bubbling paint
- Color noticeably faded on south and west facing walls
- Caulk shrunk or pulled away from window and door trim
- Bare or graying wood showing on fascia, soffit, or trim
- Interior walls with patched holes, scuffs, or colors from the last owner
- You are getting the house ready to list or just bought it
- Gaps where siding boards meet, letting water behind the surface
